Birmingham has excellent travel connections to the rest of the UK by virtue of its central location. The main train station, New street, is a hub for rail services to all parts of

the country. There is a large International airport with regular flights to more than 58 destinations.  It lies at the crossroads of the UK's motorway system with direct links to the M6, M5, M1, M42 and M40. It is also at the centre of Britain's national coach network, connecting directly with 500
destinations. The bus network within the city is ok, though sometimes dirty and unreliable, and be prepared to get high as dope smoking is virtually compulsory.
