Birmingham is the second city of England with a population of about 2.3 million. It is often seem as being nothing more than a big, dirty industrial town but this is a little unfair.

Actually, Birmingham has changed massively over the past few decades and is now well worth a visit - even if we were robbed of the European City of Culture! With all the new development and culture Birmingham is beginning to take off as a truly European city.
